Family Support Service
Our service focuses on empowering families with the skills they need to better manage their everyday lives. Through home visits, we support families in learning how to help themselves.
Tamaiti Initiatives
Our programme equips whānau with the tools and resources to build connections within our community. We focus on health, well-being, budgeting, employment goal-setting, and linking whānau to local services and support systems.
Health Coordinator / Older Persons Support
One of the key objectives of this service is to ensure that accurate information on health and disability support services is reliable and easily accessible for people living in the South Waikato and Mangakino areas. Margaret also provides advice, advocacy, support, and information to vulnerable older people and their whānau.
Whānau Resilience
Our service is tailored to meet the needs of whānau, with a focus on their own design and goals. It includes one-on-one support, helping whānau access services, and working alongside them to achieve long-term healing outcomes according to their whānau plan.
Social Workers In Schools
The SWIS service is available in schools across the South Waikato, offering non-statutory support and assistance to children and their whānau.
Integrated Attendance Service
This service partners with most schools across the South Waikato, from primary to high school, to support whānau and schools in providing the best assistance for truant students, both enrolled and non-enrolled.
Family Wellbeing
Supporting whānau to overcome challenges that are affecting their children or young people.
Family Harm
Support for whānau affected by family or domestic violence is provided by South Waikato Pacific Island Community Services (SWPICS) and South Waikato Living Without Violence Trust. They offer advice, information, and support.
