The Integrated Attendance Service collaborates with most schools in South Waikato, from primary to high school, to support truant students, both enrolled and non-enrolled.

Service Areas

1. Unjustified Absence Truancy Service
   Unjustified absences are either unexplained or explained with reasons not accepted by the school’s policy.

2. Non-Enrolment Truancy Service
   When a student has not attended school for 20 days or more, schools must remove them from the roll and inform the Ministry of Education. The Ministry refers these cases to providers holding the Attendance Service contract for the region, like TCOSS for South Waikato, including Mangakino and Whakamaru.
