Josiah Teokotai

Kaiwhakahaere Matua (General Manager)

Josiah, a native of Tokoroa, brings a wealth of inspiration and leadership drawn from his upbringing and the community figures who preceded him. With decades of experience in leadership and management, complemented by a degree in leadership and mental health, Josiah is adept at navigating the complex landscape of social service provision in our community.

Beyond his professional achievements, Josiah wears multiple hats within the community. He currently sits on the South Waikato District Council and serves as a Justice of the Peace. Additionally, he actively engages with the community, particularly in advocating for local youth sports teams.

Lana Ahomiro

Kaiwhakahaere Rauemi (Operations Manager)

Lana brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our leadership team, having dedicated nearly three decades to serving with us at TCOSS. As a tribute to her years of dedication and service, we’ve named one wing of the building in her honour.

Beyond her responsibilities within our organisation, Lana is a passionate advocate for pursuing one’s passions and embracing challenges. For over two decades, she has been an active participant in the local theatre productions and now serves as president of the organisation.

With her own large family, Lana possesses a unique perspective that informs her decision-making both as a leader of TCOSS and as a supporter of the families we serve.
